More about Bronson

Concurrently, Bronson completed an internship at Tork Sports Performance where he gained experience as a performance coach working with athletes at the middle, high school, college, and professional levels. After his internship, he worked part-time as a strength and conditioning coach for Tork while being the “Training for Life” Director for Atlas Physical Therapy’s Mandarin location. These opportunities provided experience with general population needs through the needs of Olympic, MLB, and NFL athletes. These needs included in-season and off-season strength and conditioning as well as preparatory needs for MLB spring training and the NFL combine. In addition, there was a constant and consistent management of athlete needs as they balanced games, tournaments, off-season, in-seasons, and showcase events.

He is committed to applying research- and evidence-based principles of strength and conditioning and sports performance with all populations. He strives to deliver on three core principles. First is individualized training where every athlete is recognized as a unique subject that can be coached to their strengths, weaknesses, and goals. Second is holistic development where not only are physical attributes addressed, but also mental resilience, nutritional awareness, and recovery methodologies. Holistically addressing athletes ensures they maximize their potential both on and off the field. Lastly, continuous improvement in the pursuit of excellence where clients are encouraged to embrace challenges, learn from setbacks, and strive for progress with unwavering determination.

Bronson is a highly educated professional in the field of strength and conditioning. As such, his approach to training and programming is sound in principle and practice. Assessments and programming are rooted in the latest scientific research and proven methodologies. By staying up-to-date on advancements in sports science, he ensures that his strategies are grounded in evidence and optimized for results. He places utmost importance on aligning assessments and programming with the athlete’s objectives. Whether it’s enhancing speed, strength, agility, or overall performance, program targets are laser-focused on achieving specific goals within defined timelines. Bronson recognizes that athletes’ needs and circumstances evolve and he maintains flexibility in his approach to assessment and programming. He regularly reassesses progress, adjusts training protocols, and pivots strategies as necessary to accommodate changing requirements and optimize performance outcomes. By remaining adaptable, athletes are empowered to thrive in dynamic and demanding environments.

Bronson believes the two most important variables regardless of how great a coach or program may be, are consistency and intention. This goes beyond sports, as it carries into life in general. If athletes can be taught and encouraged to be consistent with training and execute every drill and exercise with intent, they will be successful in their sport and hopefully, they learn that concept and carry it over to everyday life.

In his spare time, Bronson enjoys playing basketball and strength training. Bronson was born in Kodiak, Alaska, and lived there for 9 years and, currently lives in E-Town with his girlfriend.
